Our Trip To The Aquarium

It was a long trip on the bus but we were well behaved! We were so excited to see all the sights we when approached the city. We saw lots of traffic, huge buildings, trains and most exciting of all, the CN Tower. We had a great day at the Aquarium. After a little lunch when we got there, we walked through the jellyfish exhibit. It was beautiful and calming! We saw so many jellyfish, seahorses, and colourful plants. Then it was our turn to go to the classroom and learn about what an aquarium needs for sea life to survive: a good base like sand or rocks, plants for oxygen and food, shelter for the fish to hide in and finally some sea life! Did you know that bacteria lives in the bottom of the aquarium and that is good because it eats the fish waste (aka poop). Then we got to build our own aquarium! We did a fabulous job! When we were done in the classroom, we finally got to go on the moving sidewalk through the tunnel to see all the other sea creatures. It was so exciting! We saw big and small fish, sharks, starfish, stingrays, and lots of other creatures. We finished our time at the aquarium with a little play time at the play equipment and another snack! Back on the bus went. Boy were we tired! Lots of us slept on the way home. It was a peaceful trip for the adults!
